After the summer meetings hiatus, when the club focuses on maintaining town gardens, we'll resume meetings open to the public with a guest speaker. Speaker schedule TBA.
After the speaker, you are welcome to stay for social time and snacks, education sessions on horticulture, environment and floral design, then we'll discuss club business.
Guest donation $5.
Each week the WGC Civic Committee members volunteer in one of the four locations around town that we plant and maintain.
The Gazebo, the nearby Crescent Garden, Pond Hill triangle garden and the herb garden at the Historical Society's red building on Main St.
Any member can join in, so ask MaryEllen M. to get on her email list for notices of which garden we'll work next week!
Many of us meet afterward at a coffee shop to chat.
Become a member and join us in the fun!
Our first meeting of the new season 2025-2026, we'll hear from the board and new committee chairs to learn about the activities and meeting speakers planned for the year.
Members will sign up for specific committees and activities to volunteer for this upcoming season.
